Overview
Friberg Cooper, WSC is a membership owner corporation. Each member is an owner of the corporation and the Board of Directors is an elected position by the membership. They currently have 360 members. The corporation supplies water to the city of Cashion and Friberg Cooper surrounding areas.
Friberg Cooper, WSC started in 1970 with 50 meters thanks to the homeowners and farmers in the area. At that time water was supplied by water wells. The area began to grow and the demand for water increased. By the 1980s the water wells were no longer used. The corporation signed a contract to purchase Transmitted Treated water from the city of Wichita Falls and currently still do.
